Seajacks Golf Tournament – June 2014
If Glasgow isn’t far enough to travel, the last thing I needed was a 3 hour closure on both sides of dual carridgeway just south of Leeds on the A1. I was half tempted to get my clubs out and put on demonstration on the empty southbound carridgeway, but thought better of it as I felt it wouldn’t wash to well with the Police and emergency services??
Almost ten hours after setting off from Suffolk, I finally arrived at Glasgow’s Mar Hall Hotel & Spa and what a welcome site it was too. Time for a couple of beers and chill ahead of a busy day filming and performing for the Seajacks Golf Day.
Seajack vessels provide an effective solution to the installation and maintenance of offshore wind turbines and foundations. While in the offshore oil & gas sector the vessels have brought a new dimension to maintenance, construction and decommissioning of wells and platforms in the North Sea.
In addition to the show I was also shooting a new video for my You Tube Channel. I first met Jay from Low Profile Media when myself and Geoff Swain (The Golf Trick Shot Boys) were performing at Kilmacolm Golf Club in conjunction with the official chosen charity of the Ryder Cup, Quarriers. Jay did a great job filming and as I was in the area, so made sense to meet up and give my website a fresh new video.
We got some great footage and really showed off the Seajacks Golf Day in the ideal way. It was a fun day, superb facility and most of all a great bunch of people to perform for.
The video is now live on my website, if you want to check it out click here and the link will take you direct to my You Tube Channel. If you like the video, please subscribe to the channel and tag/share with with friends. This entry was posted in The Show. Bookmark the permalink.
