About KC Golf Show

I’m Kevin Carpenter, a Golf Professional from Colchester in Essex, and also recognised as one of the country’s leading golf trick shot performers.

I started playing golf at the age of 13, and joined Colchester Golf Club as a junior member on my 14th birthday. Off a handicap of 28 I remember my first ever competition shooting 81 gross, net 53, just the 17 shots under my handicap! Ouch!!!

With the speed in which I reduced my handicap I soon realised I wanted to become a Golf Professional. I loved the game and it became my main focus for many years.

After starting my PGA training at Chelmsford Golf Club, my education went from strength to strength working for The Gleneagles Hotel, travelling overseas to The Middle East, before returning to the UK as Head Professional at The Celtic Manor Resort, host to the 2010 Ryder Cup.

During my 6 years with the resort I had the privilege of working alongside and sharing coaching views with Butch Harmon among others. I also wrote a number of tuition articles for one of Britain’s best selling magazines, “Today’s Golfer”.

In 2005 the first ever “World Trick Shot Championships” took place at Celtic Manor and this inspired me to develop my very own unique and interactive golf trick shot show. I was impressed with what some of the competitors were doing but I also thought that I could develop my own show drawing on my golfing ability and personality, that could surpass those seen that day.

I’m now much closer to home and very happy living in Suffolk working as Club Professional at Hintlesham Golf Club. With the show now in its tenth year I’ve been very fortunate to see large parts of the world visiting many fabulous locations on my travels. The success of The KC Golf Show has also provided appearances on TV Shows, Radio Stations and numerous performances on The European Tour.
