IJP Junior Invitational
Performing with the main man himself at his very own IJP Junior Invitional was fantastic. Ian was a great sport, and typically he did’nt shy away from any challenge I threw at him.
2012 has already been a great year for the KC Golf Show, however meeting Ian, and have him help me with the show will take some beating.
Through invite only, the seventh IJP Junior Invitational was held at Ian’s home club Woburn, with over eighty or so keen junior golfers being treated to a very special day along with their parents.
On arrival the kids must of thought Christmas had come early….., greeted with goody bags that included Oakley Sunglasses, and an EA Sports Tiger Woods computer game.
If that was’nt enough, each Junior had their photo taken with Ian which was signed and framed ready for collection after playing the tournament on the magnificent Marques Course.
Well done to all the competitors, and a huge congratulations to Sophie Madden who picked up 1st prize with a fantastic score of 74. Prior to the presentation the stage was set for the KC Golf Show to show off his skills, and it was’nt long before Poults wanted to get in on the act!
The moving golf ball inside a balloon was just too tempting for Ian to try! Much to the fans delight Ian successfully made good contact , and he was now raring to go for the next challenge.
Following in his Dad’s footsteps young Luke Poulter showed us all up by demonstrating just how easy it is to hit long drives from off his knees!
To round off an amazing day, both Ian and myself tee’d off from the ball shoot which involves the ball travelling some 20 – 25ft down the pipe before being launched into mid air. On this occassion I may have got lucky, and won the judges vote!!!
The KC Golf Show was back performing at Woburn just two days later, with double act partner Geoff Swain entertaining the guests who played in the dreamflight Charity Golf Day.
Myself and Geoff known as the Golf Trick Shot Boys and we will be touring the Middle East in October performing…* Twice the tricks… *Twice the banter… * Twice the entertainment…This entry was posted in The Show. Bookmark the permalink.
